Flame Boss uses this mechanism to make your smoker work like an oven. Just set the temperature you want and Flame Boss will take over. It also functions as a meat thermometer and timer, two tools commonly used by pit masters. Flame Boss smoker temperature controllers are easy to use while still giving you many useful and convenient features. Easy to Use – not even an on/off button to press (it’s always on when you plug it in). There is only one mode, Automatic. If you want to cook at the same temperature as last time you don’t have to push a single button! Temperature Probes (1 pit probe and 1 meat probe included) High-temp, industrial duty platinum resistance thermometer probes are rated to 400 F. Use up to 3 meat-probes at once with two optional Y-cables and meat probes. Additional Y-cables and meat probes can be purchased separately.
