La: It all depends on your needs. We are using ours outside for wood and tools for our fire pit. The whole surface of the rack have painted anti-rust oil when it reached, worth the price.

La: 18″L X 16″W X 27.5″H.
Q: Should a cover be used with this to keep the wood dry or will it dry itself out in the sun?
La: I would only cover it when it is going to rain or snow for a long period of time. Firewood needs to be seasoned, and a little water now and then won’t hurt it.
