The Cuisinart Chef’s Style stainless tabletop grill is completely portable and can be ready for grilling in less than ten minutes with no tools required. Easy-start electronic ignition system and temperature control knobs for each stainless steel burner. A locking cover, folding legs, and comfortable carrying handle makes it easy to take anywhere. The powerful two-burner system offers cooking choices that are not available in other portable grills.

Two burners for total heat control when slow-cooking large cuts of meat

Choose to grill foods directly or indirectly. Indirect grilling is when one burner is used to cook larger cuts of meat at a lower temperature. Once the grill heats to 300° the meat is gently seared over the hot burner and then placed over the cool burner to slow cook in an oven-like atmosphere. This ensures that large cuts of meat aren’t charred on the outside and undercooked in the center. And since the meat will not be over direct heat there is no need to flip or turn it. Perfect for for cooking whole chickens, turkeys, briskets or tough cuts of meat.

Designed for people who love to grill

With total temperature control it’s easy to get beautiful sear marks. Professional quality stainless steel cooking grate allows for superior heat transfer, cooking, and cleaning. The two burner system can deliver up to 20,000 BTUs of heat and a more flexible cooking environment; sear meats on the hottest burner while simultaneously toasting buns on the cooler one. Accurate thermometer makes it easy to monitor grill temperatures at a glance.

It’s a performance bike instead of a cruiser

Me: A foodie dad in the USA who loves to grill and has a couple decades of experience with serious grilling, smoking and outdoor roasting, up to and including whole hogs. Also, I’m an engineering geek that notices things that many less technical people overlook.

You: Somebody who wonders if a portable grill is worth owning.
My review: (This first review is being written after owning the grill for a week and using it several times. I promise to post updates as regards durability or other emerging issues) I like this grill, and here’s why. It’s well built. All stainless, quality fittings, includes a heavy gauge propane fitting (note: uses a standard 20lb propane tank, not a camp bottle). It zooms up to 600 degrees (F) in less than ten minutes, and cools to the point I can remove the grate with my bare hand within twenty minutes after I turn it off. The built-in thermometer is accurate and agile (it reflected with perfect accuracy that it was 100F in the Carolinas the first day I set it up). Initial setup required no tools and was no more difficult than unboxing, unfolding, and placing the burner covers and cooking grill in the right place. Every working surface is stainless steel, even the burner shields and the bottom of the oven, which makes cleanup easy. The legs fold up and the lid latches to the side, so that you can carry the grill like a suitcase and store it either horizontally or vertically (like you’d store a suitcase).

A Great Table Top Grill

Just got done using this grill for the first time and I must say I’m very impressed! That’s saying something considering I’ve used some pretty expensive full size grills in the past. But for condo dwellers or people who just want a quality grill for occasional cookouts — this little baby is just the ticket. Sure there are cheaper tabletop grills out there, but with its sturdy stainless steel construction, you know that it’s going to last. Something that wasn’t included in reviews that I read on this grill or in the product description might be a deal-breaker for some of you considering this grill. This grill, like other tabletop grills on the market, is made to be portable. It even has clips on the side of the lid made to lock it down so you can carry the grill by its handle. But the difference is that most other tabletop grills are made to work with the small propane bottles often used for camping and you can purchase an optional hose kit to connect the grill to a standard 20 lb. propane tank. The Cuisinart Chef’s Style Grill is made to be used strictly with a standard 20 lb. propane tank. In fact, a 36″ long hose with regulator comes attached to the grill so all you have to do is hook it up to your propane tank. I’m not sure if Cuisinart makes an adapter so that you can use the small propane bottles or not, so if extreme portability is important to you then you might want to look at a different grill. But if you are grilling for a picnic or tailgating or using this on your patio or balcony then using a standard 20 lb. tank is probably not going to bother you.

If you’re not sure about this grill– get it. It is much nicer then Cuisinart’s All Foods line of gas grills. Sure it’s more expensive, but worth every penny.
