Description
A giant fork may not be the most traditional cooking tool, but this oversized model from Grill Friends proves surprisingly useful for both indoor and outdoor cooking. Created by Elizabeth Karmel, grilling expert and founder of Girls at the Grill, the piece is durable stainless steel at its core with a smooth, silicone coating. This design makes it both sturdy and nonstick, heat-resistant enough for the grill and still gentle on cookware. Comfortably sized, the fork has straight sides that allow it to double as a spatula and wide tines that can substitute for tongs. It also functions as an impromptu whisk for re-blending marinades between basting sessions. Safe in the dishwasher, the piece measures 10-1/4 inches long and is also available in a sharp black color. –Emily Bedard
