Yummy. Everyone should enjoy a dessert or two. Who knew you can bake cookies on a grill? This is a must try for every griller to experience and will be a crowd pleaser. Homemade cookies are such desirable treats. You can bake on the grill with a baking sheet, wood plank, aluminum foil and even on the grill.
Tip for baking on the grill, use foil to prevent the cookies from sticking.
INGREDIENTS
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ sticks of butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Set grill to Medium setting
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt, set aside
- In another bowl beat butter. Add brown sugar, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mix
- Gradually emerge the flour mixture
- Fold chocolate chips and nuts into dough
- Drop spoonful amounts of dough onto aluminum foil
- Bake for 17 minutes
