1. The sockets are waterproof. During installation, please make sure the bulbs are secured tightly and securely into their sockets.
2. The switch behind the solar panel can be used to turn on and turn off the lights by physical control. When the switch is on, the solar panel will automatically charge during the day, and the string lights will automatically turn on during night.
3. You can use the Foxlux solar string lights without batteries however they are always there as a standby for rainy season usage.
